Sure is cold tonight
This shiver breaks the silence
Shouting deep beyond it's hold
I sure do hope you are coming

To walk across the fire
Into this cave - into this desire
To challenge the stillness
and shatter this cold

Come - take me soft
or take me bold
By the hand - leading me
or by the hair - dragging me
Either way...I will go with you
Out of here
This cave has no comfort
An echo for a friend
Sure do miss my fire
The heat's relentless embrace
Reflecting only a tear danced face

I am waiting for you...my man among caves

Are you wandering - or maybe staggering
Wish I could light my fire
So you alone - could...NO - would
Follow it's smoke
Wish these shadows
shadowed your face

So cold tonight...
Are you coming
Darkness is about to swoon
Solitude about to bloom
None should dwell alone
These caves should not be home

No travelers today
My warmth has fled away
Are you coming
Are you bringing more food for my fire

I am waiting for you...my man among caves
My Firewalker
My Slave to the dwelling - this hiding

Seems but a sliver against the moonlight
AS THE SHADOW FALLS WITH FINALITY...
